It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of long-time Palliser Economic Partnership Board Director, Executive Committee member, and Medicine Hat City Councillor Jim Turner.
Jim was a passionate advocate for all of Southeast Alberta, and worked closely with all of PEP’s members to advance issues of economic importance to all.
He served on the Palliser Economic Partnership board for the duration of his time on Medicine Hat City Council, which began in 2013. In that role, he served as Chair of PEP’s Broadband committee and advocated for improved rural internet access. He was an active, well-respected member of Palliser Economic Partnership’s Executive Committee
Jim will be missed dearly by the many people, including all of Palliser Economic Partnership’s members.
